COOKIES

BLUE BONNET CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
PREHEAT OVEN TO 350^

2 1/2 CUPS OF ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
1 TSP BAKING SODA, 3/4 CUP BLUE BONNET STICK, MELTED AND COOLED
1 1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR FIRMLY PACK, 1 EGG , 2 TSP VALILLA EXTRACT
1 CUP SEMISWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS

1. COMBINE FLOUR AND BAKING SODA . SET ASIDE.
2. IN A LARGE BOWL, COMBINE MELTED BLUE BONNET AND BROWN SUGAR. MIX WELL UNTIL ALL THE SUGAR IS MOIST. STIR IN THE EGG
AND VANILLA EXTRACT UNTIL WELL BLENDED.
ADD FLOUR MIXTURE AND STIR UNTIL JUST COMBINE. DO NOT OVER MIX. STIR IN CHOCOLATE CHIPS.
3. FOR EACH COOKIE, DROP A HEAPING TABLESPOON OF DOUGH ONTO A COOKIE SHEET, LEAVING ABOUT 2 1/2 INCHES BETWEEN EACH.
BAKE FOR 9 TO 11 MINUTES AT 350^ OR UNTIL EDGES HARDEN AND CENTERS ARE STILL SOFT.
MAKES ABOUT 2 DOZEN COOKIES
YOU CAN ADD 2 TSP COCOA POWDER TO MAKE THEM CHOCOLATE-CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES.
